Uit een houten constructie en honderdduizenden kleurige lampjes wordt een reusachtige zuilengalerij opgetrokken die door zijn rondbogen doet denken aan Romaanse of Renaissancistische architectuur. De entreepartij is met 28 meter hoogte imposant. Het publiek loopt door de sprookjesachtige galerij lopen en wordt omgeven door licht en kleur. Energieverspilling? Integendeel, het immense kunstwerk van De Cagna verbruikt met 55 000 LED-lichtjes slechts 20Kwatt/u. Luminarie De Cagna is een Italiaans familiebedrijf dat in 1930 werd opgericht. Destijds verlichtte de firma bij feestelijke gelegenheden gebouwen en pleinen met olie- en carbidlampen. Al snel werd overgeschakeld op elektrisch licht en sinds 2006 worden voor nieuwe projecten uitsluitend LED's gebruikt. De lampjes worden aaneengeschakeld tot grote gordijnen van licht, die op gebouwen worden aangebracht of over vrijstaande elementen worden gespannen.
