I have heard Roger say in concert this is one of his favorite songs. This is a beautiful orchestra version. Cofounder of Supertramp Roger Hodgson plays a variety of concerts from a duo to a band to a full orchestra Roger is playing to audiences all over the world on tour. Everyone I know that has seen a Roger show comes away more hopeful, happy, joyful, rekindled. If you are lucky enough to have Roger come to your town, don't miss the opportunity to see him live! An evening you will never forget.
I've read many nice and wonderful things fans have said about Lord is Mine and would like to share them. Feel free to share some of your thoughts and comments below.
""Lord is it Mine" is a call from the heart...A heart desperate for the reassurance of love...Because love is the miracle that makes this life worth living...Even in the darkest times."
"Who among us would not know a vacuum in our soul when we do not know how and where further, we are helpless, sad, wounded ... When everything is dark and nothing seems right... We often perceive the solitude as something difficult and agonizing. Remain alone with his thoughts and the voice of his own conscience it is not always easy. But how blessed ! We are asking: Lord is it mine? Is that you who leads me now ? Is that not just my desire, my vision or an escape from reality?... Silence and solitude is the surest way to find yourself to understand God and learn to discover him in people and in everyday events. This song I first heard in a very difficult period of my life. Expressed perfectly what I was relived but I was not able to express it by words. And has become a song of my life. As if my inner anthem...."
"If only you knew Roger, where would we be without your songs brightening so many of our lives? I can't begin to tell you how for me your songs have given me a quiet, silent inner light of hope while going through difficult times, and how revisiting your music every time gives me a feeling of peace of mind knowing I can make it through and overcome anything. Your songs play like a comforting dear friend..."
