R.I.P. Mac † 03.Aug.2011 A friend is gone! We are very sad about our big loss. We can't find the right words in this moment. Our friend, brilliant musician and singer Andrew"Mac"McDermott passed away † 03.Aug.2011 He succumb to a kidney failure after being four days in coma. Our sympathy and condolence goes to his family. Originating from the song the world moves faster! End of 1988, I hung in my studio. Wanted to do something new. A ballad should be. So I played the piano around, and lo and behold, it created the music for the song. Unfortunately, no singing and therefore I haue full track to track! Then when I was finished with the playback, 4 clock in the morning, from sleeping to go home. After work, I immediately into the studio and ... The song was gone ... Safen had forgotten him. A couple of analog audio tracks were still there and added the rest, digital everything away ... I stayed calm ... So the tape and my memory played everything on it up to 5 clock in the morning. The song was saved! During this time I worked a lot with Keith Ellis, and asked him to agree. The song we used to call, as his text: don `t let him catch ya ... very dark ... Keith went on, and the song remained lying down, came to Mac! I had a great team in the studio. I offered this song now make them in 1999, something of it too. Super, but who is asked to sing it the producer? I told Mac! Who is this, he can sing ... I said dryly, I'll call him in time. When Mac was there and heard the song for the first time (with Keith's voice), he needs after the first half-verse and said: give me only the playback ... 2 days later, Mac came in and sing it in only 3 Tacks a ...
