Airdate: January 7, 1967
“Color My World” is the first song of the first show in the new year of 1967. It is at
#28 today and will peak at
#16 in two weeks. While the song flopped on the charts in the UK, it will become well known there in July when BBC television uses it to advertise the launch of their new color services. Petula Clark will also perform the song live next Sunday (Jan. 15) on The Ed Sullivan Show.
