I was driving home when LAFD Rescue 860 sped by me rolling Code 3. I turned on my scanner, and to my extreme surprise, the RA was responding to a traffic collision at Burbank and Laurel Canyon, an intersection I would be travelling through within seconds. I arrived on scene to find a vehicle that had hit another car, rolled over, and hit a traffic light, mangling it. The light was still working, though wrapped around the SUV. No one was seriously injured in the crash, though one patient in the SUV was transported, with a minor head injury. Surprisingly, no one involved was drinking! I stayed for a few hours watching LADOT remove the traffic signal, and the tow truck turn over the totalled vehicle. A few mins before I left, another accident happened RIGHT across the street, people just don't pay attention to the road! Enjoy the video.
