The spacing between each beaded daisy is usually filled in with bugle beads. This time, though, we will make an unusual spacing with seed beads. This stitch is a little more complicated than the classic daisy chain stitch, but once you learn the basic technique, it'll become easier!

» Materials List «
• Beading thread and a beading needle (I used Nymo thread in size D)
• A clasp with a tag
• Two bead tips
• White size 11 seed beads (for the petals)
• Yellow size 11 seed beads (for the center of the flower)
• Green size 11 seed beads (for the spacers)
• A pair of pliers
• A ruler
• Scissors
• Clear nail polish
» Instructions «
• Before you begin, you must first get familiar with the seed beads you'll be using. The white seed beads will be referred to as the petal beads. The yellow as the centers, and the green as the spacers.
• Measure and cut your beading thread three times your desired finished length. Thread your needle and attach your bead tip. Please watch my video "How to Start and Finish Your Jewelry Strung on Thread Using Bead Tips " for a step by step tutorial on how to attach bead tips.
• Make a beaded daisy. Please watch my video "How to Make the Classic Daisy Chain Stitch" for detailed instructions on how to make a beaded daisy.
• After making the classic beaded daisy, you will now need to know the unique stitch that forms the vertical spacer. Listen and watch carefully.
• Pick up a spacer bead, a petal bead, and a spacer bead. Thread your needle up through the second from top bead from your previous daisy. String on a spacer bead and a petal bead. Thread your needle down through the last petal bead you strung on. String on two petal beads and a center bead. Thread your needle up through the last petal bead you strung on, which is the top petal bead. String on two petal beads and thread your needle down through the bottom petal bead.
• Repeat last step until you have reached your desired length.
• Attach a bead tip. Seal your knots with nail polish. Trim excess string and attach your clasp.
