A Mini Movie part 1 Here is some info for the REAL MOVIE : A new Pee-wee Herman movie has been a long-gestating project for actor Paul Reubens. Knocked Up director Judd Apatow has been linked to the film as a producer, and now he says the film is “pretty close” to happening. During an appearance at Loyola Marymount University, Apatow said that he is “close to getting that going,” with regards to his Pee-wee film. Apatow elaborated on the project, saying, “We’ve kicked around a couple titles. Pee-wee takes a holiday – that was one of them. But we have a great script that he wrote with a friend of mine, Paul Ruse, and I think we’re probably going to get to do that soon.” (NOTE : This is a parody of what potentially could happen!)
