Plot: Kol sees Caroline at a ball and takes interest in her, so he introduces himself to her, "Good Evening, we haven't formally met, Kol Mikaelson." Caroline also feels an attraction to Kol and they spend time together, talking and falling in love. Eventually Kol admits to Caroline what he likes about her or finds interesting about her, "You always find something good, something positive." He then attempts to convince her to be with him, "You, Me, we belong together." Kol tries to convince her further more and makes a promise to her, "I'll look after you, take care of you, I will do whatever it takes to make this work, I promise you." Caroline's answer is unknown, until Klaus comes in and takes her from Kol, also taking an interest in her and telling her how much he fancies her,"I fancy you, is that so hard to believe?" "Yes" "Why? You're beautiful, you're strong, you're full of light... I enjoy you." but she rejects his advances and states that she is already taken, "Well, I'm spoken for." revealing that she had agreed to be with Kol. IA few days later, it show Klaus and Kol fighting over Caroline after Klaus refused to back down, "Perhaps we should go outside." Eventually Kol and Klaus fight and it is shown with his super speed and strength that Klaus is a vampire, so he wins by snapping Kol's neck. Caroline finds out that Kol is dead and cries, it shows a flashback of Kol and Caroline making love and Kol telling her how much he loves her, Klaus comes to visit Caroline, expecting her to want him, now that Kol is gone, but she tells him that she is pregnant with Kol's child. Klaus is shocked by this and runs off, later it shows Klaus with Kol's body, daggered. Finally letting Caroline go, it shows that Kol had been daggered so he can be subdued and Kol was actually turned into a vampire by Klaus instead of being killed because he knows she loves Kol. Klaus states that Caroline needs Kol, not him, so he undaggers Kol. The next scene (SORRY IF IT'S CHOPPY, IDK WHAT MY COMPUTER DID TO IT) shows Caroline happily in the hospital getting a check up to see the baby and shows Kol there with her, alive. It is unknown whether Caroline realizes if Kol is a vampire or not, but it doesn't matter to any of them because they are together now and they are going to have a family.
