A world-record breaking Russian weightlifter has made the record books again, making multiple lifts of a 100-kilo bar.
Boris Gridnev performed the back breaking feat of 131 squat lifts in Moscow's Red Square.
Russian weightlifter Boris Gridnev has already captured one world record for repeated lifts of heavy dumbbells last summer.
Today, he was back in Red Square, this time in sub-zero temperatures, to attempt another - 75 squat lifts of a 100-kilo bar.
He started slowly, taking time to get into a rhythm on such a cold day.
The record came and went after half an hour but Boris kept going until he had lifted the bar 131 times.
However Gridnev was reticent as to the nature of his success, saying only that he had trained hard.
