Honda Aircraft video of the the Dec. 20 first flight of the first FAA-conforming HondaJet light business jet, from Piedmont Triad Airport near Greensboro, North Carolina. This aircraft is powered by HF120 turbofans developed by GE Honda Aero Engines. The engines are mounted above the wing, and not on the fuselage like other business jets, to provide more space in the cabin. HondaJet deliveries are planned to begin in 2012 from Honda's new plant in Greensboro. The engines will be assembled by Honda Aero in Burlington, North Carolina.
