MGM Resorts Changes Compensation Program

MGM Resorts launched MGM Rewards on Feb. 1, a refurbished loyalty rewards program, offering both gaming and non-gaming customers unprecedented access to more than 20 top destinations across the country, ways to earn even more and a variety of exciting new benefits.
For the first time, non-playing customers will benefit from joining a game partner and earning a currency called MGM Rewards Points, which can be used for free food and drink, entertainment, and hotel stays. All members can now earn points on nearly all spending at MGM resort destinations by integrating non-game activities with gaming activities. In addition to MGM Rewards points, customers who play slots will also earn Slot Dollars. MGM Resorts' five member ratings - Sapphire, Pearl, Gold, Platinum and NOIR - remain in place.
MGM Rewards offers members new and exclusive marquee benefits, including resort fee waivers (Gold+), Tier Achievement Travel Credit to Las Vegas (Platinum+), free MGM Rewards concert tickets (Pearl+), up to three nights of advanced suite upgrades (Platinum+), exclusive Tier Audit events and experiences (Gold+), and 4pm late checkout (depending on availability). As an additional benefit, MGM Rewards points and slot dollars will not expire for Pearl+ members due to account deactivation.
