I will never be able to give birth, or nurture a baby with my body.

As a male, I am not naturally inclined to want these things, it is normal to have curiosity and to ask questions though. After all empathy is the pillar our society is build upon.
The problem arises when a man wants to feel these things, when a man wants to experience life as a woman. I'm here to tell you that no matter what you do to your body, whichever cosmetic procedure you have done, you will never feel like a woman because you will never be a woman. Being a woman is more than just having children, breasts or a vagina.
I am not a woman, but even I know that its more nuanced than just having the correct genitals. I can only empathize with you and imagine what that might feel like, I can ask you and learn through your description but I can never feel it. That's the way it should stay.
Women have been oppressed since the start.
If you believe in evolution, you believe in that we were not always as sophisticated as we are today, rape was normal, so women sought protection. All you have to do is look at the animal kingdom and witness how animals behave. If you believe in God, you believe that Eve was evil, and it is her fault that we were expelled from the garden of eden.
Either way you look at it, women start with a huge disadvantage from birth.
After a very long time of oppression women still are fighting to feel equal, appreciated, valued, respected, heard. I can not fix the problem myself, I can only look inward, and express what I see.
Something I feel that transgender men need to hear: You are not special. You are not out of the ordinary. You are not a problem. You belong. You are with us and we are with you. You are sick and that's oke. We will find the cure and in the mean time, we will not discriminate against you, we will not abandon you, and we will not enable you. You need honesty. As a male I am so fucking ashamed when another man wants to be a woman. I mean come on man, we have it for the picking here. Why attempt to grab a womans struggle away from her? Do you not understand what you are doing? You are shaming all of us.
Would you enable a schizophrenic man when his delusions are negatively impacting his life? The answer is no. Then why do you enable a man or a woman that wants to change their sex based upon delusions?
You know what is wrong with pretending be a knight in shining armour? It is the fact that once you take that armour off, that you go back to being nothing. Your moral compass is forever tainted. You can never hide the fact that you make people feel uneasy, uncomfortable, or that you set of alarm bells. You try to negate it, you push through what others would think is inappropriate, and it works, for now.
You leave behind rot, everything you touch turns to nothing, you feel blessed with a gift, never feeling cursed. The trail of misery and deception you leave in your wake is enough to tremble the most honest among us. The fact is that wearing that armour carrys a heavy burden wether you know it or not. Everything has a beginning and eventually an end. I would not want to be the one exposed as having held down universal progression for as long as you did.
