Sechenov University announces that applications are now open for its international startup acceleration program, Sechenov Tech Sans Frontiers.

The program is designed to empower the next generation of innovators to transform groundbreaking ideas into viable commercial ventures in the health tech market.
Aspiring entrepreneurs and young scientists from around the are invited to apply for this fully online, intensive three-month program running from September 15 to December 15, 2025. The accelerator is open to active students, postgraduate researchers, and young scientists from any Russian university who are passionate about innovation in medicine and healthcare. The primary goal of Sechenov Tech Sans Frontiers is to bridge the gap between academic research and the market.
The program provides knowledge and mentoring support for the commercialization of startups in Russia and BRICS. Participants receive support from trackers, mentors and experts from Sechenov University and partner companies.
The program accepts projects at any stage of development, from a nascent idea to a functional prototype. To cater to diverse innovations, the accelerator features four main thematic tracks:
Pharma: Novel therapeutics, drug discovery, and pharmaceutical technologies.
Medical Devices: Diagnostic equipment, surgical instruments, and medical hardware.
Wellness & Healthy Living: Digital wellness, preventive medicine, and fitness tech.
IT Solutions in Healthcare: AI in medicine, health data platforms, telemedicine, and hospital management software.
On December 4, there will be a demo day, concluding the educational program. The finalist teams will present their business ideas to experts, investors, and representatives of companies in the healthcare sector. The winners will receive prizes, such as training under the Skolkovo Foundation Fast Track program or financial support from Sechenov University.
Participation in the Sechenov Tech accelerator is free of charge. The application deadline is September 12, 2025.
