Job Purpose and Summary:
• To work with people managers in maximising employee performance, productivity and motivation;
• Overall responsibility for the coordination, implementation and continuous improvement of Canon HR objectives, policies and procedures in Com&Ben and L&D ;
• Responsibility for HR service provision to employees and line managers ensuring a consistent high performance and delivery of a comprehensive service.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
• Ensure the update of the Oracle database, payroll and brokers with monthly record and personal detail changes as appropriate;
• Manage the annual bonus scheme and salary review process;
• Review & introduce benefits that can improve candidate attraction & employee retention. Provide ideas for innovative incentive tools;
• To design, develop, implement and maintain CRU business focused remuneration strategies, programmes and plans which support the creation of committed and competent employees and a high performance culture;
• In co-ordination and collaboration with European HR teams to ensure a unified and competitive CRU reward strategy;
• To collect on regular base all available at the market salaries/ remuneration information;
• Advise on remuneration levels with regards to recruitment and ongoing role changes using Watson Wyatt etc.;
• To co-ordinate the analysis of CRU competitiveness with the market and prepare results/recommendations for senior management;
• To increase CRU Employee Value Proposition at the marker with attractive compensation packages, make it company of choice of talented people
Learning and Development;
• Develop and implement the overall L&D programs ensuring and adequate supply of manpower and skills across the organization;
• Provide effective and efficient training for staff based on course availability;
• Establish the various requirements, formulate training policies and organizes training activities, either in-house or through external sources;
• Conduct training needs analysis in consultation with key stakeholders;
• Select, recommend, and administer learning methods;
• Plan, develop, administer and conduct programs;
• Coordinate employee testing to measure the effectiveness of training programs;
• Coordinate and periodically arrange the assessment center workshops for all sales channels.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• The ideal candidate will have 5 years operational HR experience;
• Good understanding of implementation and continuous improvement of HR process;
• Experience in change management and organisational effectiveness;
• Good organisational skills;
• Self confident, with vision and diplomacy to handle the cultural diversity of the business;
• Strong communicative skills in a multi-national setting; good English, both spoken and written;
• Self motivated and can work as part of a team or individually, as required;
• Ability to prioritise tasks;
• Professional, service-minded approach;
• Good listening and recording skills with attention to detail;
• Sensitivity to confidential information;
• Client focused;
• Able to build effective relationships at all levels.
