If you have decided to buy a dash camera, there are many routes you can take. We have selected ten options for all budgets and this list is in price order.
Lanka HD
The best way to describe this dash camera is "cheap and happy". If you are considering acquiring a dash cam, but are not ready to launch into a high-end model, this is a good introduction. Don't expect the best footage, build quality, or reliability.
It may not be the most sophisticated dash camera in the world, but owners check it out well. For those who want to try a dash camera for the first time, it's hard to complain too much about the price.
YI Smart
Yi's Smart Dash camera records in Full HD 1080P at 60fps or 1296P at 30fps. He also scores an impressive 4.5 stars out of 318 Amazon reviews, suggesting a good chance of satisfaction for his hard-earned money.
The 2.7-inch dash camera has a G-sensor to automatically record these heavy braking incidents, night vision, and a 165-degree wide-angle camera to record three lanes of traffic in one go.
Aukey DR01
We love Aukey products at HonestJohn.co.uk . They're inexpensive, well packaged, solidly built, and do exactly what they're supposed to do. The Aukey DR01 is simple, but it has a very good image sensor for excellent video quality, at a reasonable price.
There are a few issues, including a low battery - the camera only works when it's connected to power. But on the plus side, the camera supports memory cards up to 128GB, so you can record a large number of images before overwriting old clips.
Azdome GS63H
The Azdome GS63H comes with an impressive specification for the price with GPS, WiFi, motion detection and a Sony sensor camera. There's also a companion app, sadly called `` LuckyCam, '' that lets you view all of the footage, as well as save it to your phone, share it, or email the file to someone. one.
While Azdome may not be a household name for many, the GS63H is a great camera for the price. Given the price, it outperforms the most expensive in-dash cameras from many well-known brands, both in terms of functionality and captured footage. Yes, it may not be technically 4K, but it is still very sharp and clear.
Mio MiVue C330
The MIVUE C330 is another offering from one of the best-known brands. The MIVUE C330's specifications are up to the standard you'd expect at this price point, with 1080p recording and a 130-degree lens with a G-sensor to trigger saved recordings.
Security camera warnings with free lifetime updates, as well as GPS tracking that provides speed and location on all recordings, something few rivals do at this price.
Z-Edge Z3 Plus
Features like Ultra 2.5k Wide Quad HD in 1440P and HDR night vision mode are a pleasant surprise at this price. Things like GPS may be missing, but the images it takes are excellent, which in the end is usually the most important factor of all.
Settings take no time and once installed, you can leave it alone to record in the background. It's also reliable and easy to use, so while it's not the cheapest in-dash camera on the market, we think it's an attractive investment considering the quality of the images it captures.
