As 500,000 marched in protest in Washington, over 2 million more marched in other cities in America and around the world for women's rights on Saturday, January 21st, a day after President Donald Trump took the office, united to share supportive messages throughout the day.Madonna, Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry , Rihanna, Ariana Grande, Zendaya,, Cher and Alicia Keys marched in protest in Washington and LA, while Madonna gave a passionate speech in Washington dropping the F bomb live on CNN! "To our detractors, who say this march will not amount to anything. F--k you. Welcome to the revolution of love."Madonna and Alicia performed in Washington with Keys reciting Maya Angelou’s poem “Still I Rise” before singing her hit “Girl on Fire.” She also offered some encouraging words to protesters. "We want the best for all Americans -- no hate, no bigotry, no Muslim registry," the singer said. Janelle Monáe, who stars in the new critically acclaimed film Hidden Fences, also said a few words before performing her song “Hell You Talbot.” “Get off our areolas, get off our vaginas,” said Monae, who wore a “Fem the Future” sweatshirt. “It was a woman who gave us Martin Luther King. It was a woman who gave us Malcolm X.
