16 sts and 20 rows to 4"/10 cm over St st using size 10 ½ (6.5mm) needles.
Take time to check gauge.
STRIPE PATTERN
9 rows B, 2 rows E, 2 rows C, 1 row H, 3 rows C, 1 row H, 3 rows MC, 2 rows G, 2 rows A, 1 row D, 1 row H, 5 rows F, 5 rows C, 2 rows A, 2 rows E, 1 row H, 3 rows E, 3 rows D, 14 rows A( 62 rows total).
BACK
Armhole shaping: Bind off 4 (4,4,5) sts at beg of next 2 rows. Dec 1 st each side on next row, then every other row 2 (3,3,4) times more-58(64, 70, 76) sts. Work even until armhole measures 8 (8,9,9 ½)"/20.3 (20.3,22.9,24.1) cm.
Shoulder shaping: Bind off 7(9,10,11) sts at beg of next 2 rows, 8 (9,10,11) sts at beg of next 2 rows - 28 (28,30,32)sts.
Collar: Dec 1 st each side every other row 2 (2,2,3) times. Work even on rem 24(24,26,26) sts until collar measure 4"/10 cm. Bind off all sts loosely.
FRONT
Work same as back.
SLEEVES
With B, cast on 34 (36,36,38) sts. Work in St st and 62 rows stripe patt, then continue with MC only to end of piece, at the same time, work 4"/10 cm even, then inc 1 st each side every 6th row 7(10,6,4) time, every 8th (0,4th,4th) row 2 (0,6,9) times. Work even on 52(56, 60, 64) sts until piece measures 17 ½ (18,18,18)"/44.5(45.7,45.7,45.7) cm from beg, end with a WS row.
Cap shaping: Bind off 4(4,5,5) sts at beg of next 2 rows. Dec 1 st each side on next row, then every other row 8(9,11,12) times more. Bind off 5 sts at beg of next 2 rows. Bind off rem 16(18,16,18) sts.
FINISHING
Block pieces. Sew shoulder and collar seams. Set in sleeves. Sew side and sleeve seams.
