MINSK, 16 October (BelTA) – Belarus and Venezuela have built strong friendly relations, Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus Vladimir Andreichenko said as he met with Yvan Gil Pinto, Minister of the People’s Power for Foreign Affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, BelTA reports.
“This is your first visit to the Republic of Belarus in a new capacity. I am sure that your work in this high position will contribute to the development, deepening and expansion of cooperation between our countries,” said Vladimir Andreichenko. “The Republic of Belarus and Venezuela have built very good, strong, friendly relations within a relatively short period of time. And, of course, these relations are based on trust between the presidents of our states,” he continued.

Today is a difficult time, the speaker emphasized. “Our opponents are creating various obstacles to hinder our friendship, yet our relations and cooperation are on the up,” he emphasized.
