Ingredients:
* For the Mashed Potatoes:
1kg potato
1 cup milk
1 tbsp butter
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp white pepper
* For the Minced Meat:
1 kg Minced Meat
1 cup ground kaak
1 whole egg
5 cloves grated garlic
2 tbsp pistachios
2 cups water
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp sweet pepper
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 nutmeg
2 tbsp cornstarch
2 tbsp cold water
* For the sauce
1 carrot
1 medium onion
5 cloves garlic
1 small onion
* For the Vegies:
8 fresh carrots
1 can pea
1 can corn
Preparation:
* For the Mashed Potatoes:
1. wash the potatoes.
2. boil potatoes for 30mins.
3. after cooking and while they are hot, peel potatoe and set them in a bowl.
4. mash potatoes until smooth.
5. put them in a cooker on a medium heat, then add milk, butter and all spices.
6. mix well until corporated.
7. Leave until cool.
* For the Minced Meat:
1. put minced meat in a large bowl.
2. add all spices to the meat and mix well.
3. then, add the grated garlic, and pistachios.
4. add 1 egg and mix well.
5. roll up the meat in a bag in an oval form.
6. add 1 tbsp of vegetable oil in a cooker.
7. turn meat every 3 mins interval, utill it turn to light brown color.
8. Then add water to the meat.
9. For The Sauce: cut carrots into ring shapes, then add them with onion, potato and garlics into the meat.
10. leave them to boil about 40-45mins.
11. remove the carrots, garlics, potato and oinion and mash them aside.
12. then add them to the meat mixture again and mix them under low heat.
13. mix cold water with cornstarch and them to the meat mixture.
14. simmer them on low heat for 5 mins and take them off.
15. leave them to cool.
* For the Vegies:
1. dice carrots into cubes.
2. boil for 5mins after boiling time. (check with a fork if needed more time)
3. leave to cool.
4. saute carrot with 1tbsp butter, untill light gold color.
4. wash 1 can of pea and 1 can of corns.
5. mix all vegies together.
