Software Designer/ Инженер - программист

Summary The Software Designer is responsible for design and testing the software (PLC, HMI, SCADA) before the site activities. The Software Designer manages software development, from customer specification to the debugging activities, assuring performance. He/she is responsible for the diffusion of technical details and standards to internal and external members of the team. The Software Designer is directly involved in the project team, reporting to the software engineer manager and to the technical reference for projects. Duties and Responsibilities (these are the positions essential duties and is not an all inclusive list) Main areas of responsibilities are: Develop control system concepts and architecture according customer’s requirement and Comau standard Develop automation controls specifications Develop software program for industrial automation line and test Provide technical support to external resources. Researches, develops, and documents software interfaces. Lays out software structure and writes code according project requirements. Designs Human Machine Interface (HMI) applications. Designs Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA) applications. Checks software programs with tools to avoid errors. Participates in the machine integration and debugging process at the customer’s facility if required. Involved in the controls proposals phase to verify engineering viability Review functional design and safety specifications before the design phase & software programming Engineering and design of fit for purpose schemes Knowledge & Skills Experience and knowledge in automation industries, Knowledge of electrical and fluid schematic packages Knowledge of Windows, and Windows applications (Excel, Word, Access) Proficient with various PLC, HMI, and software development platforms Knowledge of systems, networks, and database applications. Understanding of mechanical systems, their components, and the relationship of those systems to the controls software design. Writing capabilities – ability to write short technical reports to be presented to the VC Manager, project technical reference and/or costumer. Customer satisfaction orientation Integrity & Ethics Qualifications Education : Education : High school diploma required Bachelor degree in Electrical or Computer and Information Science is preferred Previous experiences At least 1 years’ experience related to automation industry Highly recommended Siemens products specialization (TIA Portal, WinCC etc. ) Another products vendors specialization will be appreciated (Schneider, Allen Bradley, . . ) Languages English required
