RayRay is a DJ and music producer from Taipei, Taiwan and has graced festivals and stages worldwide. We meet this creative tour-de-force and learn more about her passion for music and performance on this episode of In Her Shoes.
At the age of 19, RayRay became a resident DJ at Taipei’s Omni nightclub and since then, this young creative has built a loyal fanbase and an impressive body of work. From EDM and drum and bass to hardcore music, RayRay can turn her hand to almost any style of dance music and incorporate it into her DJ sets. With a constant need to improve herself and make her performances memorable, she works with her longtime visual collaborator, Asking Gee, who plays a vital role in her performances. In 2023, the pair made the move to the U.S. where they are looking to take over Los Angeles and beyond. Through interviews with RayRay, her colleagues and friends, learn how this powerhouse makes her music, faces challenges and hopes to utilize her resources to help younger artists in the future.
