BMW раскрыла внешность новой M8.

Фокус на свежем официальном снимке новой «восьмерки» отдан гоночной модификации модели — M8 GTE, но за ней стоит гражданская версия большого купе без какого-либо камуфляжа. Кстати, новинка без защитной пленки на кузове попала в объектив камеры впервые.
Также стало известно, что на 8 Series дебютирует новый двигатель, который разместится в подкапотном пространстве топовой версии BMW M850i и заменит V8 N63. Производитель уже сообщил, что будет сохранен рабочий объем в 4,4 литра и система двойного турбонаддува, а вот отдача ощутимо возрастет. Если у M550i двигатель N63 выдает 462 л.с. и 650 Нм крутящего момента, то у купе двигатель будет развивать 530 л.с. и 750 Нм, доступных уже с 1 800 об/мин.

If the M550i engine N63 produces 462 hp. and 650 Nm of torque, then the coupe engine will develop 530 hp. and 750 Nm, available already from 1 800 rpm.
