La Răscrucea Marilor Furtuni (At the Crossroads of Great Storms)

The film depicts the struggle of the 1848 revolutionaries led by Nicolae Balcescu to bring about the bourgeois-democratic revolution. Events such as the Blaj proclamation, the establishment of the provisional government, the dissensions within the government, and the reaction of the boyars who requested help from the Turks are illustrated.
