May 9, 1945. The German troops capitulated, peace returned to the old continent after more than 5 years of war. Remaining isolated throughout Europe, scattered groups of German soldiers refuse to capitulate. Especially those in the eastern part of the continent and who prefer to fight to the end as an alternative to Soviet captivity. Isolated somewhere in the mountains of Czechoslovakia, General Schörder also has a mission. The radio station under his command coordinates several other stations and urges the German army to reject the armistice and continue the fight. Captain Vasiliu receives orders to, together with his unit of mountain hunters, liquidate this last nest of resistance. Not an easy task, because Schörder has barricaded himself in an old castle, strategically positioned on a mountain ridge.
