This episode is unusual in that for the most part it is one story, save for a few sketches and outtakes at the end. The main story is set in the Secret Service, where there are suspicions that British Intelligence has been infiltrated by the Soviet Union (surely not?). Desperate to find out the spy, they call upon Agent 707 - aka Aubrey Daubeny - to find out who the traitors are. But as he is sent to the Secret Service Training School to investigate, could the spy be closer to home than they realize?
Starring Dick Emery, Patrick Troughton, Carol Hawkins, Richard Davies, Richard Marner, Elizabeth Morgan, Aubrey Morris, Linda James, David Ashford, Robert Dougall, Yuri Borienko and Kristopher Klum. This particular episode was from the last series of The Dick Emery Show, broadcast on January 10th 1981. I came across this one on Youtube, originally uploaded by member Classic British Telly. As I cannot contact them to ask (no Youtube account any more) the best I can do is to link you to the video and his channel here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=15xydf4XVSc). But they are rare to find, which is why I saved it here to Dick's own personal channel. There are some familiar faces, such as Patrick Troughton, Carol Hawkins (Please Sir!) and Allo Allo's Richard Marner, while the subject still strikes a chord even now. It;'s not the best of picture quality and the dialogue is slightly out of sync, but I hope you enjoy it regardless. By the way, if you are searching for any other Dick Emery videos on OK, please remember to just type "Emery Show" or "Emery", as OK doesn't like the word Dick for some reason. Daft I know, but I thought I'd warn you in advance. Enjoy.
