Tales of Unease (Ep 5 - Superstitious Ignorance) (1970)

Episode 5: Superstitious Ignorance. A young couple, eager to purchase their dream house, spot a property that befits their idea. The estate agent is eager to let it out to them and shows them inside. However, the landlady warns them about weird occurrences in one of the upstairs rooms and the evil smell about the place. Little do the couple know what they are letting themselves in for... A step up from the previous episode, this is an unsettling tale as a young couple look over a house to buy, only to be continually warned by the landlady staying there that the place - and one particular room - is evil. You might not guess where this episode is heading - never a bad thing in such tales as this - but the stench of danger is an accurate clue as any.
