For a young man living in a Yugoslavian provincial town, his coming-of-age coincides with the turbulent political events of 1968.
A coming-of-age story about Petar (Slavko Stimac), a smalltown adolescent who dreams about meeting a woman of his life.
His graduation summer coincides with the events of 1968 and students' movement. Petar's father (Danilo 'Bata' Stojkovic), a county judge, is initially proud of him for taking Marxism as his graduation exam, only to find out that his son failed, which is little surprise since Petar is far more interested in women than in Marxism.
Therefore, he sends him to drudge in a bakery, just to be able to feel the hard life of the working class, but this venture fails in a similar manner.
Meanwhile, an all-girl brass band from Czechoslovakia comes to their town, and Petar tastes love fully for the very first time.
