Unable to stop thinking of her, he visits her in Australia to say goodbye for good and to tell her he is going to Rome, but his attraction to Meggie proves more powerful than even his belief in God, as the two make a decision that proves fateful to their lives... I've uploaded this as a belated tribute to Richard Chamberlain, who died last week. It proved to be one of his biggest TV hits, and the 2nd biggest audience figures in US history at the time other than Roots for a new show. It was one of my Mum's favourites, and I hope you like it too.
