The March of Time: Policeman's Holiday is a 1949 US short police documentary drama film.
A murder, an investigation, and a high-speed pursuit. A dramatised documentary brings a touch of US crime drama to the mean streets of post-war London, where crime was on the increase. The viewer gets a splendid tour of the city as it looked in the 1940's, where a murder committed in Limehouse leads detectives to the old Middlesex Hospital, to Lambeth and Soho, and finally to the tunnels of the Piccadilly Line.
A film restored by the British Film Institute (BFI).
