That Sinking Feeling is a 1979 Scottish comedy crime film. It features Tom Mannion, Eddie Burt, Richard Demarco, and Alex Mackenzie. Ronnie, Wal, Andy and Vic are four bored, unemployed teens in dreary, rainy Glasgow. Ronnie comes up with a great idea. He has noticed that stainless steel sinks are worth a lot of money and comes up with a complicated scheme: to steal sinks from a warehouse dressed as girls and using a stop-motion potion. A film restored by the BFI (British Film Institute) and included in their 'Flipside' collection. BFI Flipside is dedicated to the margins of British cinematography; forgotten films and filmmakers. It includes UK cinematic oddities, offering everything from exploitation documentaries to B-movies, countercultural curios and obscure classics.
