Return to Glennascaul (Orson Welles' Ghost Story) is a 1958 Irish short horror mystery film. It features Orson Welles, Michael Laurence, Shelah Richards, Helena Hughes, and John Dunne. Orson Welles, on break from filming Othello, relates a tale he heard one spooky Irish midnight not so long ago when, driving through the countryside, he picked up a man with car trouble who told of a strange encounter with two hitchhikers. A film restored by the BFI (British Film Institute) and released as part of the BFI Flipside 'Short Sharp Shocks (1949-1986)' series of DVD's. A collection which revisits the heyday of the supporting programme with a compendium of eerie and eccentric British/Irish short films.
