Educating Marmalade (1982) (Episode 4)

Ep 4: Walkies. Social Worker Mrs Allgood decides that Marmalade Atkins needs a completely different sort of discipline and brings in the formidable dog expert Clara Coalhouse to sort her out. With Marmalade Atkins looking beaten as Clara puts her through her paces, how can the little tomboy get out of this tricky situation? Starring Charlotte Coleman, John Bird, Lynda La Plante, Gillian Raine, Charmian May, Mary Maddox, John Fortune, Lynda Bellingham, plus Frederick Treves (the headmaster in the previous episode) as the voice of the nodding dog. The target of the spoof this time is obviously Mary Woodhouse, famous dog expert, but also of interest is the casting of John Fortune as one of the social workers, reuniting with old pal John Bird, who would later team up with Rory Bremner in "Bremner, Bird & Fortune."
