Part 6 of 6 of the 1st series of the comedy drama. The Tundish family are stunned by Roger's marriage proposal to his personal assistant Phoenix. As preparations are made for the big day, it goes off in typically chaotic fashion. Meanwhile, Joanna is still distracted by Declan until her husband Mortimer's bombshell revelation. And Vincent is settling in rather too comfortably for the Belchers liking, until he reveals a different side of his personality to Carmen that leads to a most dramatic clamix! Starring Ronald Pickup, Pippa Guard, Celia Imrie, Richard Hope, Greg Wise, Mossie Smith, Jayne Ashbourne, Cal McCaninch, Nicholas Farrell, Trevor Peacock, Brenda Bruce, Stewart Pile, Ashley Wright, George Costigan, Amanda Elwes, Lionel Guyett and Mary Peach. This was the end of the 1st series and if it ends a little abruptly, don't worry as they made a 2nd series. It remains fondly remembered by viewers who saw it, and has not been repeated on TV since it's broadcast in 1993. Some performances stand out over others, such as Celia Imrie, Nicholas Farrell and Mossie Smith, who shines in a unconventional lead role as Pet. Please be warned this has some swearing and violence.
