A sailor (Kenneth Harlan) and his buddy rescue a girl (Marceline Day) in romantic distress in the South Seas. A sweet young girl heads for the South Seas to be with her betrothed. A storm brews when she learns that he has frittered away all of his money at the gambling tables and owes a huge debt to the owner of a saloon. In an attempt to cash in on the musical genre craze that was sweeping early talkies various random songs were clumsily dubbed from off-screen singers and haphazardly lip-synched by Kenneth Harlan and Marceline Day.
