She Walks by Night (Die Wahrheit über Rosemarie) is a 1959 West German biography crime drama film. It features Belinda Lee, Walter Rilla, Karl Lieffen, and Claus Wilcke. Based on an actual post-war murder in Frankfurt, whose death caused a large scandal in the German press at the time. The history of the case of Rosemarie, a hooker, and how she came to be strangled in her apartment is not completely clear. One of the suspects in the case was first charged, and later acquitted.
