The Choir That Wouldn't Sing is a 1981 British television crime drama film. It features Alan Dobie, William Simons, David Waller, and Barry McGinn. Series 2, Episode 4: Cribb and Thackeray go to the country to investigate the death of unpopular Captain Allbright who died as he was about to change his will in favour of birds' egg collectors to the detriment of his ward. The captain was running through woods at night and fell into a gravel pit. Cribb is a British police crime drama, which debuted in 1979 as a 90-minute television film from Granada Television. Later, thirteen 50-minute episodes were produced, which ran from 1980 to 1981.
