The Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (CSIA), located in the heart of the city, is South Asia's most important aviation hub, handling more than 32 million passengers and more than 670,000 tons of cargo per year. CH2M HILL is providing program management consulting services for the airport's US$2 billion modernization program. As a program manager, CH2M HILL has served as the single point of responsibility, aligning the efforts of hundreds of designers, contractors and third parties to the goals and standards of the airport modernization program. We quickly integrated into GVK's team to help them advance this ambitious, extensive and highly-successful initiative from initial concept to what is today one of the most modern and technically advanced airport facilities in the world.
