Gift Horse (1952) St Nazaire Raid

A British naval officer is brought out of retirement and put in command of an antiquated WW I ship and assigned a motley team of seamen. He eventually molds them into an efficient fighting force, prior to being sent on, a daring suicide mission against a Nazi naval base on the coast of France.
