Tarzan and the Green Goddess (1938) ★

Tarzan and the Green Goddess is a 1938 US adventure drama film. It features Bruce Bennett, Ula Holt, Frank Baker, and Ashton Dearholt. Tarzan retells the story of a trip to Guatemala in which the ape-man had gone to aid a friend in searching for a very valuable totem pole called the Green Goddess. This is an edited version of the 1935 US serial 'The New Adventures of Tarzan'. It was based on footage from the last ten chapters of the serial, with some minor additions, and follows much the same plot.
