Birdie Hicks (Esther Dale) is jealous of the family's new wealth, which includes a completely automated modern home, and accuses Pa of stealing the slogan. Reporter Kim Parker (Meg Randall) tries to prove Birdie wrong, and in the process, a romance devlops between her and Tom Kettle (Richard Long).
