Honeymoon 1947. Shirley Temple, Franchot Tone, Guy Madison, Gene Lockhart, Grant Mitchell Teenager Barbara Olmstead (Shirley Temple) flies to Mexico City to marry her fiancé, Corp. Phil Vaughn (Guy Madison), who's arriving from Panama on two days' leave. When Phil's plane is delayed for one day, Barbara looks for lodging in vain and then turns to young American vice consul David Flanner (Franchot Tone) for help. Unaware that Phil has caught a military flight to town, David postpones a date with his own fiancée to assist Barbara, but his kindness brings about startling complications.
