Part 3 of 4 of the Lord Peter Wimsey mystery. After the autopsy confirms that elderly Colonel Fendiman, who was found dead in a chair in the lounge of The Bellona Club, was murdered, suspicion falls upon Ann Dorland, who was primary beneficionary after the death. She is not the only suspect in a complex case, and Wimsey is also suspicious of her cousin Robert Fentiman, who feels he is being followed. And the other cousin George Fentiman is also a cause of deep concern with his erractic behaviour and memory lapses, and the case takes yet another twist before the episode is out...
