On Dangerous Ground 1952. Ida Lupino, Robert Ryan Hard, withdrawn city cop Jim Wilson (Robert Ryan) roughs up one too many suspects and is sent upstate to help investigate the murder of a young girl in a small, mountain town. There he is drawn to the blind but independent Mary Malden (Ida Lupino). However, Mary's brother is chief suspect in the killing.
