Part 4 of 4 of the comedy drama from 1994. Having been sent by the ministry to close the Office of Output Statistics department in a sleepy village in Suffolk, shy civil servant Jasper Pye is torn between shutting down the department and his love for the people there. He is also torn between his love for all three of Lord Flamborough's daughters, but as time draws near for him to depart, what will be his decision - for the village and for himself?
Starring Michael Maloney, Leslie Phillips, Maria Aitken, Cathryn Harrison, Abigail Cruttenden, Charlotte Williams, Amanda Root, Gillian Raine, Graham Crowden, David Haig, Stephen Moore and Joe Melia. This is from an old recording of mine, so apologies for any quality issues in the picture. It's a gentle period comedy drama, but one that stuck in my memory as a kid, and one that has not been repeated since it's broadcast in June - July 1994.
