A radio drama from The Friday Play from Radio 4, starring Victoria Shalet as Danielle Cross, a ambitious TV reporter desperate for fame, who will sleep her way to the top with whoever is neccessary and inadvertantly comes up with an idea for a TV show so appalling that the TV bosses take her up on it! A satire on the TV industry, written by Paul Watson and broadcast on April 25th 2008. Taken from an old video tape of mine when it was first broadcast, and also starring Nicholas Farrell as Shalet's father, Frances Barber as her mother, and Lizzie McInnery as Averill, one of her TV executive bosses who later becomes her lover.
