Creating the World of Harry Potter - Part 2: Characters

Longer than its previous installment, this outstanding follow-up segment, "Characters," focuses on wizards, muggles, and villains from the entire series, not just those that appear in The Chamber of Secrets. Producer David Heyman is once again the dominant voice of the documentary, but every immaginable actor and filmmaker shows up to chime in on Potter, his cohorts, and his nemeses. With endearing fly-on-the-wall footage, humble interview segments, and a variety of amusing outtakes, old and new, the documentary continues to absorb and impress. I can't wait for further entries, and look forward to charting the course of what will soon be a decade-plus production of eight films. Even if you've never enjoyed the early Potter films, this candid documentary is well worth your time.
