Does not ridicule religion!!!
Please, do not watch this program if you cannot stomach references to Biblical symbolism that do not involve bashing religion. Mass media has something for everyone, and if it's not for you then go in peace - quietly.
For non-theophobes, Seven Signs was a delightful rendering of Apocalypse symbolism in terms of modern knowledge of natural disasters, man-made disasters, ecological disasters, and cosmological disasters. You'll note that the title's very clear and unambiguous reference to the Apocalypse of Revelation is in fact borne out through the program - each of the signs listed in Revelation gets its own segment, lovingly rendered in full high-resolution doom.
Apparently some are threatened by any reference to religion, and feel compelled to rant about it lest they be proselytized. To the radical theophobe, a simple unbiased work becomes a hated attempt to convert them and turn them into mindless sheep. As stated above, if any reference to religion "offends" you then by all means turn the channel.
SSotA gives cinematic life to each of the signs of the Apocalypse, and shows how they "could" happen. The end of the world not only could happen - it *will*. somehow.
The ultimate premise of SSotA is that Revelation describes a specific *sequence* of cataclysms. That "the world will end" is undeniable - but for it to play out exactly as prophesied would (will) indeed provide a compelling and undeniable proof of God's existence.

Seven Signs of the Apocalyspe
I enjoyed this documentary I have just viewed on the History Channel during Dooms Day Sunday.
The Title Seven Signs is obvious Biblical prophecies and Revelations will be part of the documentary, but what makes this documentary interesting is the date of it's release and the sign of the Pale Horse they get into detail about. The date of production and release could not have predicted the outcome of 2009.
Those who are afraid to accept future predictions, the present day events and the book of Revelations of the inevitable shouldn't watch this, but those who can take the fear for what it is, will be glued to your t.v. hanging on every word and find yourself at Google finding your own answers.
I think this is something that every person should watch and prepare for, the end will come, it's just a matter of when and what you will do when it happens.
