New York Minute (2004)

The story takes place during the course of one day in the lives of twin sisters Roxy and Jane, who journey to New York City: Jane must present a speech and hopefully win a prestigious college scholarship, and Roxy is determined to slip her demo tape to the group Simple Plan at the shooting of their new video. Things get complicated when they land in the middle of a shady black-market transaction, are chased by an overzealous truant officer, and are accused of stealing a senator's dog.
