Brimstone & Treacle ~ Sting-Denholm Elliott (Dennis Potter-R Loncraine 1982)

Dennis Potter's controversial 1976 BBC play Brimstone and Treacle was pulled by the network at the last minute. It wasn't actually seen on TV until 1987. In the meantime, Potter was able to get a studio film version off the ground starring Sting in Michael Kitchen's role.
