In the 11th century, the powerful Duke Willian of Ghent sent his most loyal knight, Chrysagon (Heston), along with his warriors, to guard and protect their settlements on the Normandy coast from attacks and looting by the Frisian warriors. Tempted to take the daughter of the old man of the village by the law of the droit de seigneur Bronwyn, daughter of Odins (MacGinnis), the warlord ends up realizing that in fact he is hopelessly in love with the maid. Adapted from the novel and original piece by Leslie Stevens.
